Why Are Mosques And Churches Different?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Mosques and churches are different in the sence that, muslims and christians in this day and age pray differently, muslims pray by prostration and christians pray by making dua( supplication with their hands held towards the air ina bowl like shape and usually close their eyes and pray to God for forgiveness or forwhat ever they wish, also muslims do this form of worship and supplication, but they also make ablution ( clean them selves) before they bring themselves in front of God, which is called wudhu, and mosques always have a wudhu facility to make ablution. Also christian churches, also have various statues and pictures of jesus christ and the virgin mary etc, and mosques only usually have inscritipions of  quranic verses, written on the walls and patterns, as a muslim could not pray with a statue or idle of anything in the way as would be shirk( associating partners with God)
but as a muslim, muslims still believe in jesus but in arabic called Esa may God be pleased with him. And muslims believe that he was not son of od but a prophet to God same as noah, moses, abraham, etc! Hope this helps!
