Where Is Liverpool?

    Liverpool is a metropolitan borough. It is situated in the North-West of England. It falls on the eastern side of the Mersey Estuary. It is built athwart a bridge of hills, which rise about 240 feet above sea level. Liverpool is also known as a city, it got its status as the Metropolitan borough in the yea 1880. It falls in North West region of England.

    Liverpool is very famous for its football team, known as the Liverpool football club although it is home to another premier division football club known as the 'Everton Football Club'.  

    Liverpool has also been selected as the capital culture for the year 2008.
    The other most famous thing that had come out of Liverpool was known as 'The Beatles'. The Beatles are the most successful rock band to this day; they were so famous during their peak time, that they were dubbed as "The Sons of Liverpool"
