How Do You Build An Art Studio?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

An art studio is the term generally used to describe an artist's workshop or the people who work in the studio. An art studio can be used for different areas. For example it can be used for photography, animation or painting. The word 'studio' is borrowed from an Italian word that is derived from a Latin word studium, from studere, which means to study or zeal. The French term for a studio is atelier.

Before building a studio, one should first be sure of how he or she wants the studio to be, as in, what kind of material is to be used for the flooring, how the space is to be utilised etc. one then has to get a carpenter or a mason to make the necessary woodwork. If one has the money, one can even hire an interior designer to design the place. If one would rather do it themselves, they can purchase hardware kits that are easily available across most local hardware stores.
