My Ex Husband Just Got A Raise And A Promotion At Work. Should He Have To Pay More Child Support Even Though We Agreed On A Set Amount In Our Divorce Settlement?

Ex husband didn't want me to know that he got a promotion and pay raise at his current job because it may affect his monthly child support payment, should it go up if we agreed on a set amount in our divorce?

If your agreement was written and legal then you don't have chance to ask for extra child support. But normally, it doesn't happen.

With the increase in income, the non-custodial parent has to pay more. Check out the law of your state and contact the child support services department to get more information.

Even if the your agreement allows you to ask for more, most courts have some limitations on when and how often you can ask.  In my experience, the limitations stated the increase to income had to be 10% or more, and it had to be at least two years since the last adjustment in child support.  Your child support enforcement agency will probably be willing to discuss your options with you before you consult a lawyer.  In many states, they will even process the request.
