How Do You Remove Oil From A Concrete Basement Floor?

There are many ways to remedy your problem. Your first option is applying some cat litter to the stained area of your concrete basement floor. Sprinkle some of the stuff on the area in question. Now stamp the powder with your foot and grind it in the floor with your shoe. Leave the cat litter for at least one hour. Once it sets you can sweep it up.

Your second choice is to use some TSP. TSP is nothing but some Tri Sodium Phosphate. First you will have to mix half a cup of TSP with half a gallon of steaming hot water. Now put on some eye protection gear- and then pour the mixture on the oil stained area of your basement and leave it to soak for a good half an hour. Then scrub the area vigorously with the help of a brush and rinse.
