Is It Possible To Rain Fish?

Answer Question

As Bizarre as it may sound it is indeed possible for it to rain fish. This strange phenomena has been witnessed and documented throughout the centuries with various animals including fish, frogs, toads, jellyfish, and even ducks and gulls. The explanation for this is fairly simple, if strong enough winds are developed, say during a thunderstorm, small whirlwinds and mini tornadoes may form. These whirlwinds form as hot air rises quickly and then condenses again, creating rapid upward air movement. As these whirlwinds pass over land and water there is a likely hood that small animals and debris may be sucked up. Sooner or later as the cloud travels to a part of the atmosphere that is cooler, it will begin to stabilize causing the whirlwinds to subside and the items collected to be released giving the impression that they have been rained down from the sky. Sometimes this may happen many miles away form where the animals were collected, giving rise to even more mystery for the local citizens.
