Answer Question

In the 1800s, there were many improvements in agricultural practices and the yield has increased many times. Due to this their work conditions had improved and they were getting greater outputs. There was a lot of improvement in Crop rotation system and the farmers did not have to keep the soil empty for a year, rather different crops were cultivated around a four years period and the same cycle repeated again. This way the crops also increased and due to this improvement farmers were able to keep cattle throughout the winter as well hence providing meat the whole year.

By the end of 1800s, there was a slump in the economy and the farmers were not contended with the low profits they were getting on the crops.
