How Old Was Romeo And Juliet When They Died?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Juliet is just shy of her fourteenth birthday.  Romeo's age isn't implicitly stated in the play, but it's assumed he is just a bit older - perhaps fifteen years old.  Their youthfulness may explain some of their hasty decision-making.  They were married, secretly; only Friar Laurence and the Nurse are in that loop.  They marry in Act II, Scene 6.

Juliet was turning 15 or 14 i think. And romeo doesn't say his age. But i think he's older like most couples the boy is older
