    Percocet is Oytcodone which takes anything between 24 to 48 hours to get out of your system.
    Percocet is in a class of drugs which are called narcotic analgesics. It relives pain. You should not take Percocet unless prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor.

    One should be very cautious when taking Percocet. Percocet dose should not be stopped suddenly if you have been taking it for 5-7 days continuously which can cause withdrawal symptoms. It does have side effects which include dizziness, drowsiness, an allergic reaction, slow or weak breathing, yellowing of skin and eyes, severe weakness. You should consult your doctor immediately in the case of any of the above.

    You should avoid things like taking sleeping pills, alcohol; acetaminophen can be toxic to your liver.Tranquilizers, sedatives, and antihistamines should also be avoided. Percocet can cause constipation or dehydration, you should drink ample water while on Percocet and also the tablet should be taken with a full glass of water.
