Karl Pilkington is an English radio producer who used to work on XFM. However he is most famous for his intriguing appearances alongside Ricky Gervais on his dvd 'Politics' and also 'The Ricky Gervais Show' podcasts.

Karl had a bizarre childhood, he did not perform well at school and only received one GCSE in History. He got into trouble with the police and helped the elderly as part of his community service punishment.
After working his way through various different types of jobs, Pilkington got involved with radio and became something of a success as a radio producer for Ricky Gervais' show on XFM.
Gervais developed a friendship with Pilkington and also saw the potential to bring him to the viewers attention by featuring him on his 'Politics' dvd.
