Answer Question

    Log(ab)=log(a)*log(b) is a wrong statement. The correct statement is;

    Log(ab)=log(a) + log(b) ----------- (x)

    Let a= 150 and b=250

    Put values in (x); we get

    Log(150*250) = Log(150) + Log(250)

    Log(37500) = Log(150) + Log(250)

    4.5740 = 2.1761 + 2.3979

    4.5740 = 4.5740

    Both the sides are equal so, the statement is correct.
