How Do You Find The 'Mean' Of Something In Mathematics?

          The process is quite simple and to find the mean of something you just need to add the amount of data that you have and then should divide them by the number that represents the number of data in the calculation. You can understand the concept well with the use of following example: If you are told to find the mean of 11, 15, 16, and 19. What you should do is to add all these numbers and then divide the result by 4 as it is 4 that represents the number of data size. The result of the addition stands at 61 and when you divide it by 4 the result you will get is 15.25. So the mean of all these numbers is 15.25.

           Sometimes the word has is use in statistics also and there though the basic theory is same, it apply some complex process.
