When Is It Important To Follow Rules?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

All the time. I didn't follow rules when I was younger. Now I am going to tell you a little story.

    My Little Finger

My mum was up the road so me and my brother were home alone. She told us not to touch anything sharp, but I was mucking about with the scissors. I dropped them and they sliced halfway through my finger. We spent half of the night up at casualty and then the rest of it I was in pain. The next day, I went to the hospital again. They told me I had cut through the tendons and nerves in my finger. I couldn't feel or bend it. They operated on me for three hours. 5 months of physiotherapy later, and my finger was okay again. But even now, I still have a hideous huge scar zigzagging all the way down my hand. I broke a rule and I paid for it. To this day, I have never broken a rule since.
