How Do You Become A UK Police Officer?

The police force is an occupation in which knowledge and experience are an individual's most prized qualities, and where finishing paperwork is an important daily activity. This is a profession which is considered as a rewarding one by many who implement it well although one must learn to be realistic in one's approach and have the courage to deal with many situations which will test your position as an officer.

As is apparent, physical strength is a must have for any police officer, as is mental stability. One must pass a strenuous medical examination before becoming a police officer, and also possess necessary skills like swimming and driving; even abilities in math and English are tested. Formal qualifications are not necessary as far as I know, but again that depends on the region in which you are applying.
