The sunlight is made up of three types of waves- ultraviolet rays, visible light & infrared rays. All these waves have different wavelengths, the ultraviolet rays having the shortest wavelength and the infrared having the longest.Infrared rays produces a sensation of heat while ultraviolet rays produce flourescence in certain substances.
