Bull Ring is a retail and commercial center located in Birmingham England. Birmingham lies to the North West Center of England and is one of the major cities of the United Kingdom.
The area of Bull Ring has traditionally been a market district with the first ever market being established by the landowner Peter de Birmingham on obtaining a royal charter in 1154. The market was initially a cattle market and then a corn market. It has seen demolition and redevelopment all throughout its history. As far back as the beginning of the 19th century demolitions were being carried out to aid expansion.
The most recent redevelopment projects were undertaken in the 1960s and 2000s. Now the mall boasts a retail space of nearly one and a quarter million square feet. It has a hundred and forty shops and parking facilities for over three thousand cars.
