What Is Profession Of Faith Of A Savoyard Vicar?

I am doing an essay of 900 words on an extract (found in anthology volume 1 pgs 58-59) which starts with the words "I also admit' and ends with 'who alone knows the truth'. One of the questions is "What religious presumptions are apparent in the extract?" I'm having some trouble with this, can any shed any light or point out any websites that might help?

As  far as  I remember, it expresses Rousseau's own view that real religion and goodness are to be found through studying nature and living in harmony with it. There doesn't seem to be a lot on the Internet about this essay: The encyclopedia Britannica has an article, but I think you have to subscribe in order to get it. The only other thing I found is this short summary.
