Was William Blake Victorian?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The poet William Blake was born in 1757 and died in 1827. Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837, so Blake was not a Victorian, he would have been regarded as a Georgian or Regency figure.
