Is There Any Evidence That God Exists?

Answer Question

7 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Yes,look around you and see all the God's creatures. There are birds and fish and rodents and insects and plants. They are all special, each in its own way.The birds can fly and the fish can swim. They can do these things because God gave them the ability.Look at your own life. You have many privileges and good things in your life.God provided them, because He loves you.Everywhere in the world, there are small miracles, they happen every day.God made the sun and the moon and every one of the stars. They were made by scientific processes, of course, but God caused these scientific processes to happen.God is with each and every one of us, as we journey through life. Some of us choose to acknowledge Him, some do not. But He's always there, always loving us, always waiting to welcome us to Him.If you would like further evidence that God exists, read about the Saints, particularly the ones who could perform miracles. They could hardly have done that unless God gave them the strength.

Of course God exists. How do you explain everything around you? How was the Bible made if there was no God? Better yet, how was anything made if God didn't exist. If you don't believe now, you'll find out when you die (not saying you'll die any time soon!)

It depends on what your faith is and how you define God.
If you believe in the God of the Bible the whole of creation proves that God exists.
For others it's a more difficult question to answer. All the chaos and wrong in the world such as famine and war  and cruelty make some people doubt that a God can exist.
It's very much a personal belief.
There is an order in the world and universe which makes life sustainable and nature a wonder but whether or not this is the work of a God is open to discussion.
The order could be explained in other more scientific  and biological terms .
There's something that makes it all 'tick' but whether or not it's God as such is open to interpretation .
Some people would prefer to see a 'spirit' in all things and others believe that there are a number of gods.

If there is a God, he, she or it would have to have enormous power.  In fact, they must be ultimately omnipotent, nothing must be beyond their control because they must have the power to create the planets, the stars, and the amazingly intricate detail of the human beings on the earth.

God is a power source, an energy, a power but this is so powerful that is beyond our simple comprehension of power.  In other words, our mind cannot compass the level of power that we are considering here.  A power that is bigger than any power we can imagine.  Is it possible that God could be alien?  Yes, it is powerful, an omnipotent, omniscient power that comes from elsewhere and has the amazing power to create and destroy at will and without answering to anyone.

God might be a who, could be a what and is certainly a why.

If there was a god i think we would have found out by now. humans have been on earth for thousands of years but still haven't ant proof that god exist. I believe that religion was made up to keep control over people at a global scale. people who look down on cults and think they are  bizarre and weird is because they have already been brainwashed into believing Christianity. Christianity was a way to add moral laws without causing mass chaos.
I mean can you imagine if the government passed a law tomorrow saying you have an affair then you will receive the death penalty. I mean there would be massive public outcry.

He is all around you, and right in front of your eyes! He is in the kindness in a simple act, when you smile at someone, or tell them they look great. He is there when you donate, or you support someone. He is there when you help an elderly women down the stairs, or you pick up the books your classmate has spilt all over the floor. He is there when you are in need. He is there even for the nonbelievers. He loves us all! Why not embrace it? Don't you believe in things like love and kindness? They are things you can not see, yet you know they exsist. God is the same way. He created the goodness that you see out of love. And if you see the world, the beautiful skies and seas, and the creatures in them, then you are looking God straight in the eyes. :)

Umm....proof that God exists....let me see....Creation.  Religions aside, it takes common sense to believe in a creator.  Even if you believe that an atom exploded and turned into this perfect universe, someone had to have put that atom there. Logically speaking, there has to be SOMETHING that is beyond time and space. Something that began it all. There's gotta be something that just always was. As hard as it is to believe, it is the only sensible thing. What makes sense to me is that there is an all powerful being. Not a "super-human": A supreme being.
The only thing that points to this unique type of "architect" is the Bible. This "architect is God".
This is just common sense and logic. No science. No religion.

One question, you say that even if you believe that an atom exploded and turned into this perfect universe, someone had to have put that atom there. So then you say that there was a supreme being that put that there. To reflect, you say something must have put the atom there. If so, something must have put the something that put that atom there, there and so on. You say nothing can exist without being created so how exactly did the supreme being exist?

No .. I didnt say nothing can exist without being created. What i said was you have to believe that there was always something that simply existed without being created. Now that thing can be a tiny dot of cosmic matter that exploded(big bang) or it can be some form of living deity who created the universe(creation). But SOMETHING had to be there.

The only evidence that god exists is the bible. The "belief" in god is a "faith", which means it has not been proven to be true, or not true. Which is why Christians have so much "faith". Atheists (the belief that there is no higher being) believe since there are no facts proving there is a god, they choose to not "believe".
          I, myself, am an atheist.
