Mercer is nothing. People listen it from others and pronounce wrongly. It is MRSA which is abbreviation of Methecillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus. These are bacteria that are present on our body without any harm and in the environment. As these are opportunistic, so, whenever, body gets any cut, burn or wound, these bacteria can grow and cause infections.

These bacteria are acquired from the hospitals and infected people because of their contagious nature. Infection starts with formation of bumps that turn in to painful abscesses. MRSA usually cause skin infections but can also cause systemic infections when enter in blood or inhaled in high quantities. You can avoid MRSA by keeping yourself away from infected people and by covering your wounds and cuts especially during visit to hospitals.
