How Does Current Flow Through A Conductor?

I know flow of electrons is called current but electrons are also moving freely in a conductor then why there is electric current.

    Current is produced in a conductor due to flow of charge that is free electrons move towards a point where the electrons are at different electrical potential. Hence free electrons produce currents when flowing from an electrical potential towards a different electrical potential.
