What Is Hello In Italian?

I have a friend on you tube and she is from Italy. I don't know what hello is in Italian.

    There are three words which you can use in place of hello.

    These are,

    salve, ciao, pronto

      Ciao is the easiest and least formal. In the evening it is Buona sera and earlier in the day and very popular is, "Buon giorno".
