How Is Coeducation Not Helpful In Character Building?

On The Contrary, Co - education is a very good way of character building.

However, there is a big difference between day schools and boarding schools co-education.

In Boarding schools (Co-education)

*Children learn to be independant,
*Boarding are a bit expensive hence the type of children coming from different regions differ and is a good experience,
*They respect to value everthing that they posess,
*Discipline is a key factor and they are grilled with it,
*A total change in personality,
*An ability of confidence inculcated into each and every student prepares him to step out into the world filled with challenges & competition.

In Day School (Co-education)

*Children are much to dependent on parents for daily supplication,
*Respect is there but at times seems lacking due to the group or society of students they mingle with,
*As everything is provided on a silver platter, children give it less value,
*Discipline is there but they know they can get away at times as there parents are there to cover up for them,
*There is not a significant change in personality but growth in maturity,
*Children tend to be less confident due to the immense support provided by the parents thereby not giving the child an opportunity to do things himself,

On the other hand, i do not deny that a certain number of children from day - school up bringing have a good character but when a child comes out of a boarding school, there is a total change in his or her personality. Which is a great part of his character.
