Call your local pet store they sell ear mite medicine I cant remember the name of it but the stuff I got at pet supplies plus worked great they can answer your questions. Good luck

Tresaderm and Acarex are probably the best medicines that I have seen. You might have better luck at finding one of these items at a feed store, though. But getting it from a veterinarian is always going to be safer.
