Is Canada A Landlocked Country

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

No It is not. It borders the arctic circle and the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The Hudson bay is large enough to be considered a sea, so no, Canada is not a landlocked country. There are possibly landlocked provinces or districts, but Canada has many Ports of Call.

Canada is not a land locked country. Canada is not surrounded by land, and has international waters on all sides.

No. Since it is due north of the mainland United States and spans the same continent it also shares access to the Atlantic ocean to the east and the Pacific ocean to the west.  In addition, it has access to the Artic ocean to the north.
