Who Settled Colorado From England?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Spanish were the people who settled in Colorado. They came forth originally as traders and the US had claimed it in 1803. The vast region surrounding the Santa Fe colony had been established as a trading outpost to Spain and this claim conflicted with that of the US. The US army that went on a reconnaissance mission in 1806 had been arrested and expelled from Mexico.
