Can You Find The Radius And The Diameter Of A Circle With A Circumference Of 68?

Answer Question

    The equation for the circumference of a circle is C=piD where pi is an irrational number that =3.14159(approx) and D is the diameter. Since you know the Circumference, simply solve for D by dividing both sides of the equation by pi (YEP, you can do that!)
    C=piD
    C/pi=piD/pi  The pi's cancel leaving
    D=C/pi.        Now plug in the factors and you got the answer for D.
    D=68/3.142 (rounded)
    D=21.64

    Now I will let you find the radius.
