What Kind Of Game Is Imperial Glory For The Mac?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Imperial Glory is a game for the Mac set in the Napoleonic Era.  Battles can take place on sea or land as you control an empire building nation as it aims for dominance of the world (and new world).  You can be a wonderfully liberal constitutional monarch who rules with democratic love of his/her people or as an iron fist dictator, willing to quash and destroy all dissenters.

The game's battles are deeply detailed, the individual soldiers also have a wonderful level of detail and separate abilities, the crews are trained with differing skill levels, battles can be minor skirmishes or major offensives.

However, all the game's historical accuracy seems wasted on poor controls, slow loading (on a new MacBook) and poor user interface.

The game can be played multiplayer, but I don't advise that until you've really gotten the way to win the game under your belt, otherwise you're likely to get smashed time and again!
