Can You Describe The Difference Between Renewable & Nonrenewable Energy Sources?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Renewable energy is obtained from renewable energy resources which include natural energy sources which are not replenished. These energy sources are more reliable and cost effective as they are obtained from the natural processes. One of the major renewable energy sources is 'Sun'. Great amount of energy in the form of heat and light is obtained from sun. The examples of energy obtained from the renewable energy source include biofuels, solar energy, hydropower etc from sun, winds, tide, timber, metals etc.  Non-renewable sources are the energy sources which (contrary to renewable energy sources) are replenished and are consumed much faster as compared to their creation. They are present in the nature in limited reservoirs and their need is increasing day by day e.g fossil fuels, coal, petrol, natural gas etc.
