How Clean Is Your House?

There are many aspects to cleaning a house; the house itself can be divided into various rooms, the floors in each room, the upholstery, utensils, the woodwork etc.

All the bed sheets and pillow covers should be washed weekly in hot water. All the laundry should be washed daily. Accumulated dirty laundry is a happy breeding ground for mites and other pets. Use a good disinfectant while cleaning the floor; ensure that there are no food crumbs on the floor. Vacuum all the nooks and corners that are inaccessible. Use a vacuum cleaner for furniture with wood finishes because a liquid cleaner will rot the wood.

It is a good idea to have shades in the house if there are pets. The fur from the pets will cling on to the thick heavy curtains. Keep the kitchen sink free of vessels as far as possible. Use a daily scheduler to clean vessels so that they do not accumulate. Use strong disinfectants to clean the toilet bowl. This must be done on a daily basis.
