What Does The Centre Do In Netball?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Centres move all over the court with the exception of the goal areas.  They are required to be one of the quickest team members and are relied upon to shift the ball into the attack area.  After a goal the centre restarts the game.  Because they are required to put on most of the speed they are often the smallest member in the team.

The center stands in the center circle and throws the ball, the center is allowed in all areas of the court except for the goal circles.
