I want to know what came first, science or technology? Because it's a little confusing .

I think that we need more information to answer this question. Are you asking did research precede technology or did people ask questions and do experiments before they invented something. I would say that necessity is the mother of invention. Which in my book makes technology [even and especially] simple inventions, coming before Science with experimentation and study. Just my opinion.

Technology began to develop out of necessity at the beginning of civilization or even before that. Science came later. Now they both move almost together.

For me technology comes first because technology cames from the greek word techne means an art/craft and logia means study! So any art or craft can be known as a technology!
