It has many contracts with the global manufacturers and almost 500,000 people are working for Nike right now. Knight is one of the richest people in the United States of America. The slogan of Nike is very popular around the world which is "Just do it".

The logo of Nike is a "Swoosh". For all of its success, the company has been dogged for more than a decade by repeated and persistent accusations that its products are made in sweatshops where worker, many of them are children and treated in a bad manner. Nike's wealth its detractors claim has been built upon the back's of world's poor.  Several non-governmental organizations such as San Francisco based Global Exchange which is a human rights organizations dedicated to promoting environment and justice around the world have targeted Nike for repeated criticism and protests.
