I Have Low Estrogen So Will I Ever Have Any More Children? How Can I Do So?

I recently found out i have very low estrogen levels. I am 28 and have 2 beautiful children but i have been trying to conceive for about 7 yrs now. My doc put me on a birth control pill called ovcon 50 to raise my estrogen levels. I hate it, it makes me sick and ever since i have been taking it I've been menstruating (for about a month now). What should i do?!?

There can be 2 possibilities of low estrogen levels. Firstly, it can be problem within pituitary gland and secondly, ovaries are unable to produce estrogen. If your ovaries don't contain follicles then there is no treatment. On the other hand if the ovaries contain follicles then problem can be treated. Your are menstruating since last one month which is not a good sign. You should not use birth control pills and instead use hormonal supplemental therapies which don't suppress ovulation. E.g. You can use medicines which contains estradiol valerate 2 mg and norgestrel 0.5 mg (cycle progynova 1). This can treat your estrogen deficiency with good cycle control. After the treatment you can get pregnancy. But discuss this option with your doctor first.
