 How do you help secondary students do well on the FCAT?

 The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test better known as FCAT, is the uniform testing applied in the primary and secondary public schools of Florida. The FCAT test generally covers math and other science based subjects.

You can help students in doing well in a FCAT test by understanding their subjects and explaining it to them in a better manner. You can ask them to refer to book which are related to FCAT test, try obtaining the earlier years test format, this will give you a basic idea on what the test is mainly based on.

Generally the FCAT reading as well as FCAT Math test are conducted in late February and early to mid-March. You can ask the students to read small chapters from books on daily basis this will enhance their reading. Also ask them to solve basic math problems related to the FCAT test on regular basis, this well boost their confidence make them fair well in the tests.
