I am 14 years old. I have had my period for 3 years now. I am going on a trip and will be climbing a mountain and toiletes are 10 mins away. I was told to take steronate nor to delay my period. Is there any danger? I am scared.

Steronate Nor contains norethisterone which is an progestogen and can be use for the postponement of menstruation or advancement. For postponement, take one tablet 3 times a day for 10 days starting from 3 days before expected date of menstruation.
Advancement means you can get your periods earlier than expected date. This will enable you no periods at the time of trip and no use of medicine at that time. If you have 20-25 days remaining your trip then take Steronate Nor one tablet three times a day right now for 10 days. You will get periods 3 days after discontinuation of tablets and will be free during you trip.
