How Long Should I Wait To Breast Feed After Taking Vicodin?

I was given vicodin to go home with after my 2nd and 3rd delivery for the pain of the uterus changing back to normal.  We give vicodin all the time to breast feeding moms in the ER and we don't tell them to stop.  Basically what I am saying that the risk with breast feeding and even when pregnant is fairly small.  You will notice that your baby is more sleepy.  If you are still concerned you can ask your doctor.

The next day after you take it u use a pump and discard all of the milk to make sure its not in the breast milk and the next day after do that it is fine to brest feed.but if your gonna take vicodin then i suggest the day be4 you take it you pump enough for the next day
