What Can Thyroid Lesions Indicate?
Results following a recent CT scan showed a thyroid lesion. What health problems,diseases can this indicate. Lesion was on left side of thyroid gland. Breast cancer was successfully treated by radiation 8 years ago on this same side.

Thyroid lesion detected from CT scan can be an indication of different health issues depending upon the severity of the lesion. It can cause thyroid cancer, goiter, dwarfism, defects in preservation and other minor details as disturbance in digestive system is also associated with it. It is usually caused by lack of iodine. You must have proper food intake with reasonable amount of iodine. Salt is easily available in the market to fulfill this deficiency.
