Where To Park In London? How Much Does It Cost?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Parking in London is a nightmare for anyone. However fear not, ever since the congestion charge has come into action there are a lot less cars in the centre of London, making it easier to find a parking spot. Even if you can't find a spot, there are plenty of hidden private and public car parks which don't charge you an arm and a leg. If you still find it hard to find a spot to park your car then why not look into private parking? It may not be as cheap but it saves those precious minutes of your day searching for a shoe box space to fit your car into.

If you are coming from outside London it can be easier to park near one of the out lying tube stations and get the underground into the centre. If you are coming from the north Cockfosters is only five minutes off the M25 and has a car park right next to the tube station. From there its about 30 minutes to the centre of London. Parking is about 6 pounds a day at Cockfosters.
