Where Do I Begin To Find Information About My Ancestry?
I am curious to begin a project to find out where my family has come from. My living family knows very little. I don't have a great deal of information to go on.

It would have helped a lot if you had mentioned anything else about your family like surname etc. As this would have made it easier to help you. However, here is a link to a website that offers ancestry information about a number of surnames and from where you can get your family tree etc:
