Swelling or inflammation of uvula is called uvulitis. There are many factors which can cause this conditions. Snoring is one factors which can cause uvulitis. Other reasons are viral or bacterial infections, excessive smoking, allergic reactions and dehydration. Treatment depends upon underlying cause.

Yeah , Especially if you were drinking the night before .Mine is swollen Right now because of this . I also heard that if you still have your tonsils , this can happen a lot more often .

Why does it feel like I am sick if it's caused from snoring..I did snore last night and the fan was in my face..it hurts like hell and it's touching my tongue and making me sick....do I need to feed my throat with ice cream like I read online?
