Glassblowing is an intricate process involving shaping molten glass into the required shape by blowing into a blowpipe the entire procedure takes place at a high temperature of about 2000 degree F (1100 degree C).

Glassblowing takes place in a furnace where a mixture of sand, limestone, soda ash, potash and some other substances in small amounts is melted the molten glass formed is then collected at the end of a blowpipe by dipping it in the semi liquid mass after which a bubble is created by blowing air into the blowpipe. This is then manipulated using various procedures and tools like shears, jacks, marver, tweezers, jacks and a pontil until the desired piece takes shape.

Glass blowing is an art in itself and takes years to master it is practiced by several people as a hobby and there are many glass blowing studios which offer training programs for the same.

Glassblowing is a complex process that involves inflating the molten glass into a small bubble by blowing short puffs of breath into the blowpipe during the entire procedure, and this process can only happen under extreme temperatures, from 2400 degree F.

Firstly, the whole method takes place in the furnace under high heat. Next, the glassmith blows air down the blowpipe, which would all gather at the end of it, which forms a elastic skin around the inner surface of the glass blob, that matches the  external environment due to the fact that the heat was removed from the hot furnace. At last, the glass-worker would inflate the molten glass to a regular blob and modified it to its required shape and size. The equipments used in the process ranges from shears, tweezers, blocks, punty , bench, seers and many more.

In modern society, this incredulous masterpiece was treated as a work of art and was displayed in museums worldwide, most known for the "blown glass art". It was readily available for artists to work in their private studios and many institutions also provide glassblowing resources to their students and even set up glassblowing classes to those who are interested in making them.
