Most of the hair loss is most likely mites/fleas from scratching. You can by
ivermectin spot ons from a pet shop/vet. I would recommend this 1st and
then reassess. The dose is normally for 3 weeks due to the cycle of a
mite, 1st week to kill the adults, 2nd to kill the eggs that the adults
have laid that are now adolescent and the 3rd to kill any remaining

My guinea pig lost a lot of fur after giving birth. It wasn't due to parasites or fungal infections. The vet said it could have been due to her not eating quite enough whilst pregnant, or possibly just due to the stress of giving birth. He recommended we give her Abidec - a children's vitamin supplement available in the UK. This was extremely effective. Her hair grew back fully and very quickly. If you're not in the UK, you could ask your vet about suitable products and dosage. Also, you can sometimes get vitamin products specifically for pets in pet shops. My vet also suggested giving healthy pigs a regular small dose of multivitamin liquid - don't overdose them as some vitamins can be toxic in high doses, ask your vet for guidance! They now both have really beautiful coats, very glossy and smooth, which they didn't have before they took vitamins.

Does it also chew its hair and have scabs? It might be scabeys. (they are kind of like flees but for g-pigs) Mine had the scabeys and we took her to the vet and she had to have 3 shots and after a short time she was fine and her hair grew back great.
