What Is Proper Measure Of Coffee Grounds Per Cup Of Water?

This actually depends on how strong you like your coffee, as well as the brand.  It varies tremendously by person. I like half a cup of coffee grounds per 3 cups of water while my friend likes a fourth of a cup per 3 cups of water. If I buy a different brand, I have to make 3 or 4 pots before I get it right; which is why most people stick to one kind of coffee.

Of course there are plenty of different types of coffee out there, and of course there are many different ways to prepare coffee. On the can that I have it recommends 1 tablespoon for 1 6oz. cup, and 1/2 cup for a 10 cup decanter.

It's up to your personal tastes though, if you like a weak coffee, use less, and if you like.. to the moon coffee, use more grounds.

In addition to all this, it is better to make stronger coffee and then water it down instead of making weak coffee. If you make weak coffee you will extract too much of the bitter flavor out of the grounds by putting too much water through them.
