What Is The Name Of The Hedge Fund Created By James Cramer?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Over the years, James Cramer is known to have dabbled in a number of business interests, but without doubt, one of the most exciting and interesting ventures with which his name has been associated is the hedge fund he founded.

In the year 1987, the then thirty-two-year-old James Cramer founded his own hedge fund. It was called Cramer and Co. He subsequently joined hands with Jeff Berkowitz, and Cramer and Co. was converted into a partnership hedge fund called Cramer, Berkowitz and Co.

The premises out of which Cramer and Berkowitz worked were the offices of Steinhardt, Fine, Berkowitz and Co. This company was co-founded by Michael Steinhardt. In the year 2001, the then 46-year-old Cramer announced his decision to retire from Cramer, Berkowitz and Co. after a stint that lasted for about fourteen years.
