How Long Does It Take For The Swelling Take To Go Down When You Have Your Tongue Pierced?

I think it takes like a week.  I think you are supposed to ice it as well, have you tried sucking on some ice.  Good-Luck.

My nephew just had his tongue pierced two weeks ago. It took about one and a half weeks for the swelling to go down. Suck on a lot of ice. Peace

If it was done right the first time about oh a week maybe less it depends on the person. If your tongue starts swelling really bad then you might need to get a bigger tongue ring. It is possible that you could be allergic to the medal of the ring too. If it starts to bleed go back to them and have them look at it cause like i said it could be too small of a ring.

Its normal just keep using mouthwash

It depends on the person, some time longer then others it depends if your body rejects the piercing or not.
I got mine done just yesterday i could speak properly but today i have a slight lisp.
I have white coming from the bottom to, and i could eat its a little painful.
Just keep using mouthwash after everything you eat and it'll keep it clean also eat ice for the swelling to go down alot faster.
Drink cold drinks and avoid really hard food because these could cause a slight split in your tongue.
However if it does, it doesnt really affect you it just means it'll take longer to heal.

Depends on the person, got mine done swelling went down in about 5 days but still is a little swelling 2 weeks later, but i could eat ok the 2nd day

Is so much pain feels like it will take forever to heel ;; i try to eat in the 2nd day && i couldnt i cntt eat for nothing  or swallow at all
