Which Built-in Game Was Included With Some Versions Of The Sega Master System?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The built-in game for the Sega Master System was Alex Kidd in Miracle World. The game told the story of Alex Kidd, whose aim was to rescue his brother Egle who has been kidnapped by Janken the Great, the game's villain. The game was well known for its inclusion of the game 'Rock, Scissors, Paper', in which Alex Kidd had to win 2 out of 3 matches against Janken the Great's henchmen. Alex Kidd would encounter the henchmen at the end of most levels, and they became harder to defeat each time. The final challenge of the game is a game of 'Rock, Scissors, Paper' against Janken the Great. The 'Paper, Scissors, Stone' games can be quite difficult and you can obtain two objects that will enable you to see your opponent's hand.

Alex Kidd was originally released as a cartridge game, and was built into the Master System in 1990, with slight differences to the cartridge version. Alex Kidd in Miracle World was originally released in Japan in 1986.
