I Had A Partial Hysterectomy, Is There Anyway I Can Have In Vitro Fertilization To Become Pregnant?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Partial Hysterectomy is surgical removal of uterus only while cervix remains intact. After partial or complete hysterectomy, conception is possible but foetus has no place to grow. This can cause ectopic pregnancy. IVF is a procedure in which eggs are taken out from the ovary of a lady and allowing sperms to fertilize these eggs in fluid medium. Then fertilized egg is transferred to patient uterus.  As you have no uterus after hysterectomy which is site for the growth of baby, So there are no chances of becoming a mother.
