Because most women don't have weird sexual fetishes like female foot binding. Chinese (rich) men wanted their (rich) women to have bound feet because they found such tiny feet a sexual turn on. That left the poor woman's feet deformed, and she was unable to walk on her own and was carried around by servants (good thing she was rich to pay servants...). Noby does it anymore.
