There are lots of baked goods, pies and ect, that can be made using splenda, so they are sugar free. They sell a candy at Walgreens called Turtles, they are sugar free and pretty good. Some pharmacies or local stores sell candy that is sugar free. Alot of bakeries sell pies that are sugar free. Best advice, look up a recipes of a favorite treat under diabetic recipes. I am not diabetic, but I use splenda myself, and it tastes just as good as sugar in recipes.

WOW!!! Dude, I'm freaking out!!!! I NEVER wrote that answer! And I'm positive I didnt, cause I've been grounded, and havent been able 2 use the computer, until yesterday. And that answer says 6 days ago!!!! WTF?!?!?!?! Also, that anwer is 100% true!! Someone help!!

Other than sweets, fruit is good but they (like everything they eat) should be eaten in moderation. Some fruits are healthier than others for a diabetic. Even sugar free products can cause a diabetic problems depending on the other ingredients and the amount eaten. Even carrots cause my husband a problem with his blood sugar. The key is to use that monitor on a regular basis so that in time you will know what foods affect you more than others...such as the carrot issue my husband has.
